もっとベタ凪の沖ノ鳥島で、もっと腰を落ち着けて半水面写真が撮りたかった！それが正直な気持ちです。沖ノ鳥島の雄大さと海と空の間にある沖ノ鳥島の微妙な現状をアピールするには半水面写真がベストな表現方法だと思うのです。願わくば近い将来もう一度ベストな状態の沖ノ鳥島を訪問したいと心から願うのでした。できればSEPにしばらく滞在させてもらえればゆーことないんだけどなぁ。国交省の皆さんご検討お願いしますね。Location これが東小島の本体です。確かにちっさな岩には違いないですが、間違いなく日本国固有の領土。歴史的にももっと大きな岩だった時代から日本が領有を主張し、経済活動を行ってきた場所です。これが認められないとしたら、近い将来地球温暖化で国自体が消滅する国が続出するでしょう。そもそも国土のほとんどがすでに海抜ゼロメートル以下で人口の防波堤で国土を保全しているオランダなんかとっくの昔に国ではないという定義になってしまうかもしれないのです。というわけで日本国民は自信を持って国際社会にアピールするべきですし、そのためによりいっそう国際社会に貢献できるような島の利活用を考えるべきではないでしょうか？Location 北側礁斜面で発見した砂の川。砂と言ってももともとはサンゴの骨格や、有孔虫の殻である。礁内から流出した砂はこうした砂の川を通って移動し、横井カメラマンがいるあたりで滝となって海底に降り注いでいる。この流出を食い止める事が沖ノ鳥島を島として維持する為の第一歩だろう。Location : 東京都小笠原支庁沖ノ鳥島北側礁斜面　Inside of the coral reef of Sun, 30 Mar 2008 22:00:00 +0900 シャコガイの一種であるシラナミガイは沖ノ鳥島では最も普通に見られる生物の一つ。多くはこのようにハマサンゴなどのサンゴ群体に穿孔しているが中には元のサンゴが死んで崩壊したのか、荒波にもまれて外れてしまったか、無造作に海底に転がっている個体も多かった。和名：シラナミガイScientific Name：Tridacna maxima
